Teased time and time again over the course of the last year, the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 has quickly grew on those who cast judgment on the shoe back when it was first revealed. Much like the boutique’s prior efforts, the Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette is thrust through a more luxurious lens.
The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 “Violet Ore” feature matte premium purple leather uppers paired with matching netting and laces. Additional detailing comes in the form of polished buttons at the collars, quilted sockliners and insoles, black “NIKE AIR” heel tabs, and co-branded tongue tags.Elevating the shoe are black/off white tone Air-assisted midsoles with segmented purple rubber outsoles.
In addition, James Whitner and his team have placed subtle bits of text along the backside of the heel tab: the left reads “It’s not about the shoes,” while the right finishes with “It’s about where you’re going.” Each pair of the shoes is also expected to come complete with special hangtags and packaging marking the collaboration.

how to clean Jordan 4’s:
- Prep the shoe by removing the laces and setting them in a small solution of Cleaner and water. Let them soak while you clean the shoe.
- Next, take the dry brush and brush away and excess dirt or surface level stains.
- Wet the bristle brush and drizzle a few drops of product on the brush. Apply the solution to the shoe in small circular motions making sure to completely cover the shoe.
- Once properly covered, wipe clean with a dry towel. Repeat these steps until the shoe is sparkling clean!
- Apply an even coating of Water and Stain Repellent to protect the shoe from water and help them stay fresh for weeks. Let the solution dry into the material for 24 hours before wearing.
